Teddies Nursery, part of the Dean Close Foundation, has introduced the Pori Drwy Stori Nursery programme for its pre-school children who start school in September.

The Pori Drwy Stori is an exciting bilingual programme aimed at supporting children’s literacy and numeracy. It inspires a love of books, stories and rhymes and supports children to develop speaking, listening and numeracy skills.

The programme provides resources to use in Teddies Nursery and at home. Each child has been given a nursery rhyme pack to take home which includes:
– A plastic wallet with name sticker
– A rhyme flip calendar
– A nursery rhyme sheet (in English and Welsh)
– An activity sheet
– An evaluation sheet (please return to nursery when complete)

We hope you enjoy the stories and rhymes – our nursery children are having lots of fun learning these catchy tunes in Welsh and English.
